I’ll bet you’re wondering how this blog came about? Well, I’ll tell ya’ all about it…
The concept started when I was invited to Chris Pirillo’s Lockergnome site by one of his ace bloggers, Ron Schenone, who writes The Blade and Reflections over there. I had a good time at Lockergnome. Old posts from my original blog can still be read there should you care to take a gander.*
I wanted a bit more control over my content and I also wanted a bit less advertising, since I don’t participate in the Google AdSense program. This was my main reason for moving here to WordPress.com.
This blog is going to be mostly about Linux, computers, etc. (technical baloney). My aim is to entertain and maybe teach you something as we go along. I hope you’ll stop by and read it occasionally… and comment, of course. We love comments!
Learn something. It won’t hurt. I promise.

*Umm… sadly, this is no longer the case. My older Nocturnal Slacker articles were recently removed from the Lockergnome servers. However, Chris Pirillo did allow me to download all my data via WordPress document format. Eventually, I would like to incorporate those older articles onto this blog. ~VTEL 120311:1805hrs
